Hey folks,
I am in desperate need of an excellent detail shop in the NOVA area! I live in the Ashburn area, and my car has numerous surface scrathes that need attention! I was recommended to have the wax stripped, clay bared, compounded (to blend in the paint), buffed, waxed, buffed again & then polished. Is this process correct....and where can I get this done at if so.......let me know PLEASE!
Thanks,
Topher

Hey topher... A few people I've talked to at work really seem to like the work they do at Detail Authority (http://www.waxmycar.com/) in Herndon.
I took my TSX there once to see if they could repair a scratch, and the incredibly hot receptionist was being a real bitch so I just left, but others have had better experiences.

What color is your car? how well do you maintain it? and who recommended that process to you. If you need all those steps you are probably looking at $250 and up depending on the condition of the paint for a good detail. Post some pics! and we'll try to steer you in the right direction.
