Detail question
With spring being here, it's time to bring out the detailing supplies and get to work. I usually do the common wash-clay-polish-seal routine. I use klasse high gloss sealant glaze on the car.
My question is this: do any of you layer a wax over a sealant? I've seen it recommended by lots of people but is it worth it?
If some of you have experience with this, would you mind sharing the products you use?
Thanks

i use a synthetic wax (collinite 845 or natty's blue) on top of the klasse SG. it's another layer of protection.
i have about 5 layers of SG on my TL followed by the synth. wax. depth and shine...

A wax topper over a good sealant isn't necessary unless for looks. Thing to remember is some products may have cleaners in them and you could be removing some of the SG etc. I do layer the SG when I do use it. Once you learn the tricks of SG its very easy to use.
With all the carriers in 845 I'm a little nervous about thinking it can be layered or if it would remove some of the SG.

i haven't noticed a difference. i've used the 845 on our accord over the SG and the natty's blue over the SG on the Acuras. both seem to hold up well considering 2 of the 3 sleep outside.
granted the additional layer of optimum spray wax between washes probably also helps keep the paint looking and feeling pretty good.
