2002 E46 M3 in Jet Black


This vehicle was done by a very well established brick and mortar detailing shop and the owner was not satisfied with the results so I was contracted for the job. This is the 4th vehicle that has came to me after visiting this shop, you will see why.

Wheels/Tires:
P21s Gel (rims)
Eshine APC (tires & wells)
Rims saw Collinte 845
Tires dressed Surf City Tire Pro

Paint & Glass Cleanse & Decontamination:
Surf City Grime Destroyer
Surf City Clearly Better (via foam cannon & 2 bucket wash)
Megs Last Touch QD as Drying aid
Gray Clay
Optimum No Rinse as clay lube
Surf City glass cleaner

Paint Correction

Tools:
Makita 9227
3M UK Backing Plate
Megs W66 Backing Plate
2 ¾” Backing Plate
Purple Foamed Wool
3M Wool
Lake Country green (non AG foam), white and blue pads


Products:
Menzerna Power Gloss
Menzerna Super Intensive Polish
Menzerna 106FF
Menzerna 85rd
Prep Sol (wipe down to ensure proper correction)

Paint Protection:
Dodo Juice Super Natural
Aqua Wax

Rubber treated with 1z Gummi Pledge
Chrome trim treated with Duragloss 501

i cant even see the car...there's to many trees in the reflection

how do you use a QD to help you dry?

I spray it on the wet paint before I apply my drying towel

It's fairly common practice for detailers to use QD as they dry their clients' vehicles as it helps with the lubrication and gives it that just waxed look.

car looks beautiful tho, i bet the owner was pleased

whatsup with the parking lot pictures, is that where you usually work? the HDR pics are stunning!

You have no idea (well maybe you do) I was sooooo trigger happy!!!

Thank you.. Yes, hard to maintain but when done right NO other color can compete with the uber wet gloss and depth!
