Meguiars makes a pretty good microfiber towel.
However, for the price, Excel has great deals (like 10 for the price of 7) and his are pretty good

OTC?

Costco and Sam's have MF mega packs, and Kmart sells Viking MF with 20% off last time i checked.

+1 for the profession MF, you get what you pay for!

Costco has a three pack of blue MF's that are very nice, it also comes with a MF wash mitt.

The yellow MF's that I got from them are just used mainly for wheels and interior work. I won't let them touch my paint.

When I bought Opti-Seal from Pat(Exceldetail) he gave me a light blue MF towel with silk(I think) edges that was nice. I'm thinking of getting some more, just need to add more stuff to the shopping list.

Is that the one with the handy MF mit too? I liked those a lot (bought 3), I use them for qd/opt liq wax application. I'm a noobie, do you really have to wash them first? even though they are brand new?

.
Those blue ones are a great drying towel ... the yellow ones .. not a thing wrong with them .. thats all I use and I have never had an issue with them ... if your not using them to remove polish or sealants then your missing out ..

I have some of the yellows that have been washed I bet 20 times and they still don't mar even perfect paint.

Once they get past that point I put a black Sharpie X through them then they become for wheels & door edge duty.

Go to Costco or Samas Club and get the yellow ones which are like 32 for $12 .. carefully cut off the tags and inspect ... they are great.

That's them. I usually wash all my towels prior to using them. Just paranoid that way.

Jess, the yellow ones I have feel harsher than the ones I regularly use on my paint. Maybe, it's because I didn't know how to wash them in the beginning; full strength detergent and high heat in the dryer.

I get mine from Target...made by a company called Vroom. I get my polishing cloths from them but my mitts and MF drying towels come from Griot's.

I am sure Autozone and other retail autoparts store will supplies a decent quality MF products. However for the bang for the buck, I doubt you will beat Costco's or Sam's 32MF for $12.
