damn cat.....

I spent 6+ hrs fixing my car of swirls last week, got her all cleaned up and upp'd back to the way she is supposed to be....

my wife comes home last night leaves the garage open for 5 minutes while i get ready to go play tennis...on my way to tennis i can see paw prints on my windshield and was thinking to myself wtf over...

i get home from tennis and the damn thing took a stroll up the windsheild around the roof and back down the windsheild....the car is soo slick the thing slid down the hood and left a trail of swirl marks where it slid....shit!!

i think its only swirled where the cat slid on the hood so i think i might be able to get away with a pass of poliseal and black pad and reapply the upp....

Trap the cat and give it a new home ... thats what I did ... warned the neighbor first that it was THIER problem and when they wouldn't deal with it .. I did .

there is no doubt that if i catch the cat in my garage that it will be relocated....its really my(wifes) fault as the garage was left open for all of 3 minutes max....oh well, again vinnie learns yet another lesson the hard way.....i swear, if there is an easy way and a hard way to learn a lesson, i aways seem to be finding the hard way to do it....

anyway, i hit the hood with some quick detailer to clean up one spot and used alittle poliseal by hand and it seemed to clean up the minor swirls, so i plan on washing today and hitting the whole hood with poliseal and black pad/udm and then follow it up withh upp again....otherwise, i dont think he did any damage where he walked and didnt slide....

Thank the owner on the other hand for either having the cat declawed or for trimming the nails. Ive seen enough nail induced "skid marks" to make me sick.....I can see your wife now:
"It's not my fault! If you didn't play tennis we wouldn't be having this problem!"

I haven't had any problems with the neighbors cats until this past week when I saw paw prints on my windshield. Didn't see any scratches on the paint, which is a good thing. Wife said, "why not trap them and take them to the Humane Society"? We'll see if the problem continues.

I have never had a cat leave anything more than paw prints on my cars, but I have had dogs leave scratches on my doors when the dog jumps on the door.

There was a cat that did this everytime I detailed my car, the next day you could see where it slept on the roof at night and then walked off. I always thought that it liked the smell of the QD that I used. So I switched to 4*. He never came back...

that would be really cool if the 4 star spray wax was like kryptonite to cats....or some kind of piss from another animal that the cat was afraid of....
