COBRA extra plush microfiber towels

Are COBRA extra plush towels any better than the average microfiber towel for wax/sealent removal ? Although much more expensive, car buffs say they provide better protection against micro marring.

I'm a car buff and I use the Costco yellow 16 x 16 and have never marred anything with them ..

I find no reason to spend more money for no improvement.

I purchased the Cobra indigo blue MF towels a while back and was very disappointed. Exceldetail used to sell a thick light blue MF towel with black stitched edges. This towel is the best I have ever used. I hope Patrick still sell them.

So it's marketing hype ? I am just looking for ways to reduce marring when wiping off sealant/wax and quick detail spray. Dust just accumulates too fast in NYC after washing a car.

Glad I got your approval Stephen. Im currently out of those particular "Elite" towels. They were a proven winner for folks who liked just a tad more umph......
I have to admit, Ive taken a little longer then I had hoped to with rebuilding the store! After wiping everything out at the end of 09 and beginning of 2010, it takes a little while with getting everything back in stock!

You'd be surprised at some of the crap distributors come up with to get your greenbacks! About 25% of what they advertise about a product is probably true, the other 75% is based on user/author opinion. Your better off asking some one on here, about a product, before buying it! Of course there are certain lines of distribution, you can trust!
