Cleaning my steering wheel

I've got a parchment interior, with the regular OEM leather wheel.

Gotta say after 5 years she's not looking too hot. I let it go because I was going to get myself a wood-grain wheel, but now I'd decided to save my cash and live with the leather.

It's got a large splotch of general grime on the left side. Too be honest I'm at work so I haven't taken a proper look at it or tried anything yet, so I can't say if it's on the top or ground in.

So is there a quick and easy to get the color back? Can I just use plain old leather cleaner to get it done? My arm rest is a bit off color as well.

Try with the good leather cleaner and soft brush to get all the dirt cleaned and wipe and then apply a good coditioner. I use Zaino's but Lexol will do the job too.

I guess anything is worth a try. I always had good results with plain ol' Wet Ones wipes. There seems to be enough lanolin on it to keep the leather hydrated and looking fresh (on my wheel anyway) it gets rid of excess lotion, skin oil marks on the wheel and seat surfaces. I've used it for years and haven't seen any cracks on the leather at all.

Turns out I was just being a pussy about it. I've had some Meguiars Leather Wipes, but the first time I tried them I just ran them softly over the surface, not really knowing what to expect.

Went out again this weekend, and really put some time and pressure into it. Sucker came out spotless! Even got in all the grain and between the laces.

Little things like this make such a difference. Makes the entire interior feel clean, car even feel like it drives nicer, haha.

Thanks again for the replies.
