claying new car
I just took delivery of a Black CL-S this weekend and have only 14 miles on it. The paint looks and feels perfect. I plan on using Zaino this week and have been using Zaino on my old car for over a year. My question is should I use clay on my new car or go straight to the application process?

i just got mine 3 weeks ago i got 3 coats on already, and i did use the clay bar the first time. I look at it like this, it cant really hurt only help. Your gonna use z2 after it anyway so why not get rid of all the dealer wax and anything else on the paint. and yes the clay bar got a little dirty so i know it did something, not as much as somebody who didnt clay for a year, but you could definatly tell the difference between the clayed part and the non clayed part.

The clay really helps. My car was "perfect" and was thinking about NOT using the clay for the first Zaino. I asked enough people that said it was worth it.
I mostly removed only tiny, tiny bits of small particles. Then I got to the back of the car and managed to remove some over spray.
I can only speak for myself, but the exercise was worth it (IMO)
