Clay and brake shavings question

So I plan on claying the car tomorrow. On the bottom in multiple places it looks like someone tossed brake fillings in the paint. I am just guessing on the type debris its in front of the tire on the fender and even in front and above the mudflap in the back. any way i was going to get some clay magic or a meg kit. I was wondering if I should look at getting something a little more aggressive such as meg's detailing clay or i think clay magic offers a more aggressive type clay (red bar maybe)???

I have never clayed before but i don't think I will have any issues.
TIA

If its overspray it will be ON the paint .. can you feel it? . If sand blasted then clay is of no help.

I can feel it ON the paint but no idea what it is. I'm going to clay the car today regardless. Guess I will see how it goes. I really wasnt sure about the different types of clay and if I should pick the red bar up for those bad areas.

If its tar then clay isn't the answer .. you need to try and find out what it is.
