Clay bar

After reading about it here I finally tried it. Amazing.

I could always feel the invisible stuck contaminants
after I waxed the car and it bothered me.

My car is so over washed and waxed it has to be the
best 10 month old TSX finish out there. Yet there were
spots, the rear end, and the rear quarter panels that I could
hear lots of the bad stuff coming off.

The finish is smooth as silk now with a new layer
of liquid glass.

The Clay Magic brand is good for the money, the bar
is larger and stickier than Mothers, but Mothers lubricant
is better. Yep I tried both.

I sliced of pieces and have enough left for a couple years.

After a good claying I swear every time I pass the car I run a finger down it. The buttery smooth paint is awesome.

It rained like hell this week and today was the first I washed
it for 7 days. I have PWP and it gets dirty quick.
The car was quite a bit cleaner than normal this week.

This was the easiest my car ever washed off, the smoothness
from the clay bar treatment really improves the performance of
the wax. This has got to be a long term benefit for the finish not to have to use so much elbow grease to work of spots and dirt.
