Just in case if someone missed it!

 

there was another thread that recommened just 1500 2000 and 2500 grit sandpaper. would that be fine?

 

Honestly I would just assess the headlights and determine how bad the scratches and haze are. Check out the link I put and see the pictures on mine. My headlights felt rough so I needed a harsher grit paper to get it out
