Ceramic coatings and misc

Hey all! So I saw a few posts about ceramic coating. I just wanted to throw some things out there.
It is something that basically anyone can do. However… There are a few important things to remember which leads to the cost of having someone do it.
Typically for a decent ceramic code, you’ll pay upwards of $2000? I’d say around $1000 is average though for that “OK”.
I do a lot of ceramic coat here at the shop. I actually use Adams polishes the most. Which is something that you can get yourself and do for right around 100 bucks.

but… The paint needs to be in pristine condition before you ceramic coat: it needs to be clay barred, and then paint corrected to remove any scratches and swirls as the ceramic well basically just coat all of that. I guess it’s easy enough to polish it off and redo parts but… It’s a lot of work at least if you want it to look really, really good.

i’ve seen ceramic coating jobs that cost $1200. I look horrible and are ineffective after a few months. The stuff you want to use should last for years but there is maintenance along the way it can be done to help prolong it as well.

if you have any specific questions, let me know, but otherwise have fun with it, it can be corrected. If it isn’t put on right, even though it is some work. And let me know if I can help.
