Carpet Stain Remover

For anyone that has light colored carpets in their collectable or daily driver, some cars have beige or tan colored carpets, this product really works at removing stains. I finally got around to getting rid of a satin in the carpet in my home that has been there for years. A light scrubbing with a soft toothbrush...and it is gone. Nothing like a product that really works.

Folex is the best stuff. My 335i has tan carpets (under the black floor mats) and Folex is what I use to get the years-old dirt out of there.

Good to hear. I figured I'd post it anyway even though the carpets in both my Porsches are black and the carpet in the Acura RDX is sort-of charcoal or near black.

But I have seen cars that are midnight blue with a light brown interior (my friend's 997) and the color combination is absolutely gorgeous. Trouble is trying to keep the interior clean...well this product works as you also know. By the way, my Porsches never see rain or snow (they are toys), but I do use WeatherTech Digital Fit floor mats in the 991. They do not slide around and although to some or many they may not look "cool", in my opinion, why not? They are well made and made in the USA.

I had WeatherTech mats in my Honda Ex-L 6-6, and loved 'em. I bought some for my RDX, and sent them back. I much preferred the 'rubbery' feel of the older WeatherTechs, versus the very thin plastic of the new ones. I expect they do a good job, but I just didn't care for them.

I first got WeatherTech Digital Fit floor mats for the 2013 VW Jetta TDI, then in 2017 for the RDX and in 2018 for the Porsche. From what I remember, they were all made from the same material, unless things changed after 2018. Mine are quite pliable. The WeatherTechs are copies of the same type of "tray" we used to sell at VW back in the early-mid 70s. Made by a Norwegian company...they were grey.

By the way, they all fit extremely well and in the case of the VW Jetta and RDX, they are laid on top of a double layer of 6-mil plastic sheet (slippery) and they stay put because they fit snugly. The only thing I dislike about any of these are the holes they have in the trays to locate them when you use snaps that you turn 90 degrees attached to the factory carpet. We get a lot of snow and salt. I used to use Pant Savers, but you know what happens when you take a sharp turn...they overflow.
