Car wash question

Is it ok to wash a car the night before you're going to detail it (using a PC) and let the car sit in the garage till the next morning. I was thinking that doing this might help me from having the problem of water coming out of crevices when I am detailing it.... Could someone tell me if this is a good or bad idea.

Thanks

Jeff

It won't hurt anything. If I let it sit overnight, I'll just do quick wipedown with PB S&W before polishing. I have a cheap Toro leaf blower specifically for residual water trapped in the grill and other crevices. I normally wash and polish the same day (if needed).
