Car Cleaning Question

Now, I have a 2006 Nighthawk black pearl TL, I want to keep my car clean, but i just cant because its black. I knew that going into it, im new to driving kind of and I am new to the game of cleaning my car. I have read MUCH on the forum, ive searched and everything on this. Now, I am going to order products on cleaning my Leather and conditioning it, Glass cleaner, WAX, now I saw a good wax, called NANOWAX by Eagleone, now they seem like a very good company. I am also looking to just keep it looking good for a longer period of time. If anyone has any serious advice they can give me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for all your feedback.

For a new driver, you sure picked one of the hardest colors to maintain and upkeep. Acura's NBP is by far a head jerker when it's clean. The other side of the coin is it looks like crap when it getz dirty. There definitely is a great amount of info on A Zine and there are also a good number of people who know detailing. Another great source of info is Autopia's "How To" Detailing Library. There are also detailing forums where one can learn a great deal.

There are several threads about Nanowax - just run a search and see if it's a suitable product for you. Likewise, there are threads dealing with product recommendations and what members have in their detailing arsenal. Pruchasing products OTC limits your selection to manufacturers like Turtle Wax, Black Magic, Megs and Mothers (not their entire line). Online gives you a vast array of manufacturers to choose from and they offer specialty products not found OTC. Take a gander at the product lines from Autogeek, Exceldetail and Detail City. These are just a few of the many online detail sites available to the consumer.

You should also take into consideration cost, ease of use, did the product perform as advertised and did the product meet your expectations.

Have you considered Zaino? It's more expensive but the results look just as nice and more importantly last much longer.
