Question Buffing a Corvette

I am going to detail my Dad's '93 vette. I've never buffed fiberglass before. Is it safe to use OC with an orange pad or should I just use OP with a white pad? There are quite a few swirl marks and some fading. Thanks in advance.

Typically Vette's are known for notoriously hard paint so based on that assumption, OC and an orange pad would be fine. I have still yet to hear of a Vette with soft paint. Of course, it's always safer to follow the least to most aggressive method that we all praise.

Im not certain the ceramiclears or were evident on vettes pre 98?...
You may just be in luck...I have never worked on anything over 5 years old though.
As Denzil said, I think your fine with OP and Orange. The OP is very light (as of now) to begin with anyway.....
