bryansbestwax vs Black GTR

Seeing as you liked the TL

This is my third GTR I have had the pleasure of working with. This one needed some TLC to bring back the shine as it had fallen victim to a bad case of the swirlies. For such hard paint (as stated by the little sticker under the hood) it mars and swirls so easily. Paint reading were good, 120 microns on average.
We will start with some before pictures

Inside shots with light displaying the paint defects

After some polishing

Door done

Fender and hood shot after

Next was a prewax cleaner, Eshine’s prototype that is not out yet, and a nice layer of RaceGlaze Black Label Concours Wax

Outside Shots

Thanks for looking.

Nice work again!

I noticed the tape in the pic of the door. How extensively do you tape off the car before polishing?

Not much with a DA. More so with a rotary. I do the window trims for easier clean ups.

That car gives me wood. It's the one car that I want to drive, period. Great work!!

Oh...and when car makers say their paint is 'hard', it usually means it's hard to correct but not hard to swirl.

So what kind of combo did you have to end up using on this "hard" paint?
