Brake Dust...

I'm not sure if there is a such thing but I am wondering if there is a cleaning material or cleaning product that make the brake dust go away maybe like some blocker. I wash my car and then a day or 2 later there will brake dust all over my rims. So im wondering if there is something that is out there that will elimnate the brake dust

Thanks

Your best bet is to protect your wheels so that it makes cleaning them a lot easier. Personally I use Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant and it definitely makes a difference.

As posted above .. nothing is going to prevent it .. all you can do is make life easier on yourself and use a good sealant on the wheels and wash them regularly.

Maybe consider swapping out to a lesser dusting pad next brake job. The guys here know more about that then I, but its another choice you have if your a lil rough on the binders........

Here ia my Mesh wheels and I never had a problem cleaning them .. 3 layers of Klasse SG in the spring and thats all I did. Then just a wash mitt and the leftover of the wash water.

Jesstzn, i have done the same thing with my new set of rims. 3 coats of Klasse SG and the dust just comes off very easily with out any issues.

however after driving around for a few hours my rims are already covered in brake dust, i have always had this issue. so i needed rotors and bought hawk ceramic pads today to reduce the dusting so less cleaning.

Yeah I love how clean your wheels are and I started primarily using a sponge based on your cleaning technique.
