BMW 330Ci Basic Detail

My cousin and I detailed this BMW 330CI last week. It looked great inside and out but it was filled with buffer trails. It's a little hard to see in the pictures, but it was pretty nasty looking.

Our friend gave us the freedom to do what we thought would make the car look its best. So we did a 1-step with Menz 203 on the vertical surfaces and a 2-step with Menz SIP and Menz 203 on the horizontal surfaces since it was more swirling.

Let me know what you guys think!

Here's what we did to the exterior:
  • Car was given a good deep wash
  • Wheels were cleaned
  • Door jambs were cleaned
  • Clayed
  • Dried
  • Polished with Menz SIP
  • Polished with Menz 203
  • IPA 50/50 wipe down
  • Protected with Black Fire Wet Diamond
  • Tires were dressed with Megs Hot Shine Tire Gel
  • Wheel wells and plastics dressed with Chem Guys Bare Bones and Black WOW!
  • Exhaust tips cleaned and polished
Interior:
  • All interior surfaces were cleaned and protected with Einszett Cockpit Premium and Megs Rich Leather Spray
  • Carpets and upholstery vacuumed
  • All season floor matts protected with 303 Protectant
  • Glass and windows cleaned and protected
Tools used:
  • Porter Cable
  • Makita 9227c rotary
  • Waffle Weave towels
  • Microfibers
  • LC polishing pads
  • Grit Guard and Bucket
  • Pressure Washer
Here are some pictures!

Sorry, we didn't take pictures of the interior since it was fairly clean to begin with.

Before.

Buffer Trails!!! a little hard to see

Before buffing.

After buffing - bye bye trails.

Completed!

Reflection shot.
