Bird Poop

While I was at school, a bird crapped on my roof, and it must have been baking in the sun for 5-6 hours. ASAP I used water to take it off, but it already ate through the paint, and it seems the paint is gone. How can I at least make that spot look presentable.....
I got s100 pre cleanser, and some swirl removers, and wax. What is suggested?

Damn birds...

Sounds like the acid in the bird crap etched through the clear and paint. You need to go to a bit more abrasive product. Meguiar's professional series is an excellent choice with a buffer. Start at the LEAST ABRASIVE (like #9 swirl remover) and see if it takes it out. If not, go to the next level and try again.

You might also try the Meguiar's detailing forum or Autopia. Lots of good advice there as well.

I would try to buff it out first using a high-speed buffer with a light compound & if that doesn't work move to a medium/ heavy compound. If it is still visible, bring it to a local detail shop and they can wetsand it & go over it with some compound using the high-speed buffer and it should come right out depending on the amount of damage to the clear coat. I detail for a living, so hopefully it will work out for you. Good luck
