99% sure... I have another spot on the windshield, I was able to get the white stuff off but the black/brown nucleus just won't come off.

Should I take a blow dryer and "melt" the crap a little bit? lol

No, that would just make the bird crap stick even more! soap + quick detailer + and clay! would be my cup of tea! or maybe result in goo gone?

Ya have to hydrate it. Hit it with a QD, (dont wipe) then lay a piece of Cellophane (Saran Wrap) on top for as long as needed. You will be able to feel if it softens without getting it on your fingys.

I've got a couple of these on the CR-V. Thanks for the tips.

If it ever stops raining, I'll have to give it a shot.

Just a personal warning to all who encounter bird feces - be very careful of touching and not washing thoroughly afterwards. My older sis contracted cryptoccocol menengitis after coming into contact with a dead bird (burying it) while in AZ. She is now blind and can't walk - wheelchair and bed ridden the rest of her life. This appened when she was 50. She is now 56. I am now her caregiver. Her immediate family abandoned her. They will have to answer to that in the afterlife.

Excellent info to have shared, and much appreciated.
Call your local animal control to remove dead/dying birds and animals.....
