So i felt like bringing this topic back up again...
I recently found an older(one-two year) bottle of megs next gen dash protectant I had that the nozzle had broken off of. I feel that this stuff is amazing, good shine, seems to last a while. Downside is its a little greasy when first applied (applied using small terry cloth wax applicator pad). If you let it sit for about 5-10 min and then come back and wipe down, WOW!! I was so impressed, I just guess I had forgotten why I kept buying this stuff before.

i have used the general armor all wipes, i think the yellow pack, and that works great on everything from the dash to the doors. i was scared too cause i didnt want it to dry out my dash, i heard some products can make it age very fast since its a weird material. but yeah the armor alls work really good.
