attention detailing experts

Washed my car for the first time in about a month.. a noticed a little bug, leaf or something on my hood.. when I wiped it off, their was a small little yellow stain that I couldn't remove with soap/water, and a clay bar. Any recommendations how to get rid of this little bugger? It's not that big of a deal because it's barely notiicable. I'll live if it can't come out, but if someone ever had something like before and was able to remove it, let me know what you used!

edit: oops.. wrong forum.

Sounds like the leaf trapped water between itself and the paint surface causing rust.

As CLPower suggests-polish out the 'spots' and then apply a surface protection

Try a paint "cleaner" if you have one on hand, then as CL suggested, go with the polish. Either or will work (should) and are totally safe (As long as its not a compound). I suggest a cleaner first as it doesnt contain abrasives. Sounds like a stain of some sort.

I wouldn't leave that problem alone for "a few weeks". Get that looked at as soon as possible.
