Armor all the dash?

What should I use on the whole dashboard to avoid sundamage? And cracking? My friend told me that the greesy armor all just makes it crack more? What do you guys use on the interior dash!?

but your dash won't crack even if you use nothing....the plastics they use in new cars is better than the old shit that used to crack up.

i think armor all just attracts more dust and dirt....plus it shines so much you can't see shit from the reflections.

303 is great though.

Oh god, there's better products than that.. my dad had used Armor All for years just because he never bothered to try anything else. Also there's nothing like Armor All for a one-day tire shine, better hope it doesn't rain. It leaves a black dust over time. I used 3M Leather/Vinyl Cleaner and conditioner to do the whole interior and I have no plans to use anything else. Meguiars NXT might be worth a look if they have a product for interiors.

so is 303 the best around (consensus, guy?) and how is it like? Does it make the dash darker-colored, really shiny? <-- i tried Armor All once.... biggest mistake of my life - i couldn't even see out the front windshield when the sun was shining dead-on

I believe 303 offers the best protection.

No, very very little shine added, goes away after a few days.

Vinylex has no shine, and I like the smell.

I alternate both on the dash.

I have Meguirs NXT for my interior, it works great, a little shiny, but not like armorall. I think the initial coating you put on has to soak in for 24hrs before it really doesn't have the greasy feeling. I liked the second day feeling better, and it looks clean, and doesn't attract dust.

Heard awsome things about 303 here, and from other people. They have a free sample on their site - they mail you two lil dispoible wipes, each enough to do the dash for FREE - comes in an envelope, so no shipping either. I'm going to try them soon - buddy got some to try on his boat. I really want to see how the 303 does on the outside rubber, maybe get it back to looking good.

I would imagine the Lexol stuff is good too, I use their awsome leather stuff.

ArmorAll sucks ass...nasty...

All I do is wipe my dash every few weeks with a damp micro-fiber towel and use my sunshade whenever I park in the sun.
It looks as good as the day I bought the car and no glare.

303 Protectant about two or three times a year.

Dusted off with a dash duster about weekly. I've also been know to use a microfiber cloth for interior dusting.

I just got done using Armor all leather wipes on my interior and the protectant wipes on my dash. I know what people have said about the cracking but honestly i love the way it looks and smells. it looks shining and really brings out the color. i'm happy with it.
