Applying wax via PC

Hey guys,

I just got done washing, claying, and applying Swirl X to the Santa Fe. I also just applied some FS UPP via a W9006 pad. Anyway, I can hardly see the wax AT ALL on the silver paint. Is this how it should be? I guess I've been applying it way TOO thick with an applicator, LOL!

Thanks much!

Jeff

You just want to notice its presence, and thats it! Anymore is a waste!

I have always preferred to apply LSP's by hand. I have been considering using a 4" finesse pad and PC to apply then remove by hand. Like Patrick said, LSP's are supposed to be applied thin and wasting a bunch of product into a 5.5" or 6.5" pad is definitely a waste IMO.

I used to apply wax with a random orbital but found that I got better coverage when applying it by hand.

I apply my LSP with Patrick's 4" red pad with the PC at speed 2 and I think it works out great. I get great coverage with both methods so it really comes down to preference for me.
