Almost done first detail...

Well most of my supplies arrived from excel and I'm just about ready to add the UPP and finish the detail. First time using a UDM and I was surprised how simple it is to use and how well the Optimum Polish came out.

Now that I've got a bunch of microfibers and pads used can I just throw them all along with my waffle weave in the washing machine? I assume air dry everything however?

Perfect! Cant wait to see the pics!! Truthfully, I wash mine altogether, however the white pads tend to float on top of the surface and dont get sufficient agitation. May have to wash the white by hand. But as for mixing WW and MF's, why not! Treat them like any other laundering item. Use hot water, detergent, dry on warm, but remove before completely dry. Overdrying curls edges and shortens lifespan.

Excellent thanks. I'll have to see if I can find the gf's camera later today but who knows since she is out of town for the weekend she may have it with her.

That said I'll be sure to take some before and after pics of the gfs car when I do it. I'm really interested in seeing if I can get those water spots out of the paint.

Oh btw the UPP was an awsome suggestion. The wet look it gives is exactly what I was looking for. One question about it thought it said's two dime size drops. That's not really for the entire car is it? More like a portion of the car?

Looking forward to trying out the optiseal on the gf's car.

Well I probably use a bit less then an ounce so I guess I used to much first time around. Just seemed like such a small amount of product.

Thanks for getting back so quick on the towels. Just wasn't sure if it got left out or not.

The titan microfibers are very nice though.

Yah I thought afterwards I used to much probably the optimum polish in particular.

Was my first time using a UDM so I was worried about not keeping enough product in between the pad and paint. Well I'll know for next time then.

GF had taken her camera with her down the shore. I'll see what I can do to snap some pictures sometime this week but it's been driven a fair amount since then.

Still paint has a nice shine to it with the UPP.
