advice for interior maintenance

Hi Folks, just became a member of the TL owners club a few weeks ago -- 07 silver no navi 58Kms. The interior seems to be in pretty good shape and I'd like to keep it that way. What sort of products does everyone use to keep the leather and such looking pristine. Any other tips on keeping the inside looking nice would also be appreciated. I spend a lot of time going through the mechanical pages on this site as well. Thanks in advance for all the replies.

303 Aerospace Protectant for the dash and any plastic vinyl, it has UV screening chemicals and is not oily or greasy, wont build up. for the leather i use zymol leather wipes to clean it and Z-10 "leather in a bottle" by Zaino, to condition it. the smell cant be beat. check out the "wash and wax" off topic community threads theres a ton of info there

i really like poorboys products. The natural look & leather cleaner products are great. I clean with those and treat with 303 maybe once a year.

There is a thread somewhere in the Wash & Wax that says "conditioning" really is.. unnecessary to say the least. Clean with Lexol leather cleaner or a reputable leather cleaning product and finish with 303 aerospace protectant.

For the dash and other interior parts, wipe first with a damp microfiber. Then finish with either 303 or you could try some Meguiar's #40, vinyl & rubber cleaner/conditioner.

Automotive finished leather upholstery is a multi-strata urethane coating; consisting of the actual hide, colour pigmentation and the surface finish. An acrylic and polyurethane resin binder system is used to improve flexibility, fastness and adhesion to the leather, then two or three water-based pigmented base coat applications a clear water-based top coat is then applied, which usually includes additives to give it a soft feel and a limited amount of ‘slide’ as the final stage of the finishing process.

Always remember you are dealing with the finished coating on the leather and not with the leather hide itself
