Hey guys, my dad just bought a new Harley and I want to get a good coat of sealant on the paint. Is 4*UPP safe to use on factory Harley paint? I know some manufacturers make special products for bikes, I am assuming it will be fine, but with this being my first time using it with a bike, I want to verify with one of the vendor's opinions. Thanks in advance!

 

It will be more than just fine for it .. UPP has no cleaners or abrasives in it. I used it on a Harly last week.

 

Agreed with Dale...........Also, paint is paint for the most part. Theres really no such thing as a specialty wax/sealant for one particular type of paint. Some are just better then others!

 

the only reason motorcycle manufactures make special products for motorcycles is to make money....example, paying 10 bucks for a qt of motor oil at a motorcycle dealership when you can buy the same oil at walmart for a 1.50....some motorcycles have a wet clutch, which may require some detergens be absent, but most auto oils will still do in this applications...my personal choice is mobil 1....this was just an example ofcourse....
