I'm assuming you're talking about rubbing or polishing.

DO NOT USE THAT ON YOUR CAR.

As CLpower said, go out and buy a claybar.

I not sure wat you got, for "over spray" u wet sand then compound. Compound is generally for light scratches, but I wouldn't use it too much because it is dangerous. You can burn your paint or remove too much of it.

Yes...clay first with plenty of lube...

Maybe even try some bug-tar spray first, just for kicks.

I would not compound/wet sand the car for any reason...

Well I did mine results of the pics are:

But wetsanding is only need when u have overspraying or drips on the paint from painting. Like if u just sprayed paint on the fender, u do wetsanding. Compound is good but only for the right reasons. Like if you have heavy scratches and oxidation of the paint. It kinda gives u a "second" chance with the paint. detailers use all of these including the clay bar. Which might be just wat you are looking for. But with bar u also have to be very careful, u can scratch the paint if the lube is not applied enough or u haven't folded the bar over. Use as little abbrasives as possible to make your paint last.
