3g OEM window visors

I had these installed since the purchase of my car back in FEB 2005. They look like crap and are faded/dull, are they supposed to be like that over time? Is there anyway I can "revive" the shine?

What products do you have at home right now? I use a PC 7424 an organge and some Zaino Z5. Barely use any pressure! Just make about two or three passes. You'll see them clear right up to look like new.
