303 Aerospace protectant usage?

Hey guys,
As you know I just got the 07 mdx. Can I use 303 to give a deep black color to the plastic tirm parts such as the mudguards and the front/Rear plastic valance pieces? Also form our old minivan, i learned never to use color-x or scratch x on this sorta plastic.... otherwise a scratched up design appears

I use it on the plastic molding, mudguards, and cover trim on our Civic and TSX. Its great at preventing these pieces from drying out from the sun and leaves them looking a richer darker color. So, to answer your question,

I just picked up 303 Aerospace and I have to say that this is the best product I have ever used for my interior. Pretty cool how you can use it on your leather and your tires also.

Interesting enough! I have never used it for that specific purpose, (rejuvination) mostly just protection. I usually go with Four Star Tire Protectant for REALLY faded plastic and trim peices....Dont ask me how, but its amazing on real faded items....

Same here, never used it as a rejuvenation product, only protection and it does a superb job at that.

Armour All (before I discovered 303) and 303 are the only products that I've ever used on plastic trim on my cars. So, I guess I was comparing their relative performance. I'll give the Four Star a try on the 99 Civic (it could use restoration). The TSX has only seen the 303 and, so far, no fade and the plastics look new.

After reading there website, I'd say it does restore rubber and plastic:

In all reality though, its not going to take something that is faded, and return it to "new" looking. Been there, done that......However, its an excellent preservative......

Preferences aside, if it works for you and you are satisfied with the resulsts . . . continue to use it until you decide on another product.

did you use the armour all original formula on the plastic? i find that stuff way too greasy and shiny, especially on the dash.

i am fine with the shine on the doors, center console, and below the dash, but, the shine on the dash is too bright (huge distraction).

anyways, is 303 a low gloss formula?

Yes, I used the original formula. Yes, I too thought it was way too shiny on the dash, the glare on sunny days was a PITA. And, yes, 303 is a lower gloss formula. It leaves the dash with a matte type finish, not glossy.

For dash, spray 303 on a wet microfiber, buff off immediately. 100% 303 is too much, tried it.

303 gave me the look I wanted on tires (the clean, new tire look where you can read the fine print).
