303

So i searched around and some people claim 303 can be used on everything but its not backed up heavily on the forum. Once and for all, can i spray 303 on EVERYTHING in interior to CLEAN and PROTECT? Right now, i use meguiars but they have seperate products for the dash and the seats. It would be great if i could just use one product. Thanks.

you can use 303 aerospace protectant to protect...not clean. on interior plastic, vinyl, and leather. i would not use it on the gauge cluster plastic covering, windshield, headliner, etc.

simply wipe down the interior first with a damp MF cloth...then follow with another damp cloth with some 303 sprayed on it. much easier to get even application with a (water) damp MF cloth with a few sprays of 303 on it. follow that with a dry MF to remove excess and prevent streaking.

I would avoid using 303 on any clear Plexi-glass, such as the instrument cluster, lcd screen, etc. Additionally, I would avoid using it on the headliner or other fabric.

If you are trying to protect the material from UV and fading/cracking, use the 303
aerospace protectant.

If you are trying to clean the material, use the 303 cleaner.

Many people have found that the best method for applying 303 is to spray the 303 onto a damp MF towel, and then wipe on the area to be cleaned/protected. This avoids the over-spray you will get if you spray directly onto the dash, seats, etc...

aright so i went and got the 303 protectant just right now and tried it out, works great! but one last question, it seems that you guys are just protecting the interior and not really cleaning it (besides the wiping with a damp mf towel before application). Is wiping the interior with a damp cloth really enough to clean it? thanks once more.

i clean the car with a woolite/water mix 10:1 ratio twice a year, and wipe down the interior with just water all the other times. You can dilute an All purpuse cleaner if you want, but dilute it correctly.

Water itself is actually a pretty decent solvent.
