Huge amounts of pics are just egregious. The amount of hours or the amount of money spent on a detail, when it gets that high, is just annoying.

Moderators,

Feel free to delete post...I only wanted to show some of the insane money spent in the UK for detailing. The job shown would probably cost upwards of $6,000 in the US.

I wasn't railing at you so much as the original poster in the link.

I have no problem leaving it open; I think viewers are sufficiently forewarned of the MASSIVE pic content.

BTW - I could've done that job in half the time by NOT taking 1000+ freaking pictures.

A $6000 detail job doesn't impress me. In fact, trying to mention any type of cost associated with a detail doesn't impress me.

Anything over $250 or so is just overkill for most details, unless you're going to enter your car in a concours event.
By the time you drive the car home it will be pelted by pebbles, sand, get rained on, then what?

I respect the work that the detailers on A-zine provide their customers, but for me, my once every other week wash and 3-4 month waxing does just fine.
