Lightbulb Will the Wheels from TSX fit the TLX?

Hi Guys,

So I am thinking on moving on to the TLX from TSX. On the TSX I currently have 18's on 235/45/18 tires. Also, I am assuming the tire pressure sensors are new so I will need those as well.

Thanks for an information in advance!

we test fitted some 19" inch acura accessory wheels off a TSX on a TLX and they fit fine.

The standard tires on the TLX are 225/50R18 or 225/55R17, so your 235/45R18 have a slightly smaller diameter. They will work but your speedometer will be off by ~2% (when it reads 60mph you will actually be doing 61.2mph). Just be carefulwhen driving a speeds close to the limit where you would be ticketed.

The opposite, smaller means slower or less distance traveled, ~58.x.

What I meant is that your smaller dia. tires make your speedo read faster than actual, i.e. the opposite of what you said happens (actual 60 reads 61.2).

If you have TPMS in those current wheels. They will need to be reprogrammed to your TLX. Do you know if they're factory Acura sensors?

TSX wheels will fit the TLX. They are both 5x114 bolt pattern with the same hub center and offset.

Cant speak on the TPMS sensors yet, as I am still trying to verify this in the real world vs online. Online, reports say yes.

The part numbers are different, but there could be be few engineering reasons why they should be different, e.g., better electronics for longer life, improved two-way communication, etc. But if the frequency is identical then they may work. Agree that real world testing is required.
