Will an HID harness work as a DRL LED harness?

So i made a thread awhile ago asking for help if my ebay LED DRL bulbs will work with no wiring and you guys recommended me iJDMTOY, i checked their website and i came to a conclusion that it is going to be way too epxnsive for me since its coming from the US.

I found this harness on ebay and i would like to know your opinions:

HID Relay Harness Heavy Duty 40Amp 9005 9006 H11 H9 H8 9004 9007 H1 H3 H4 H7 | eBay

It looks almost EXACTLY as the ijdmtoy DRL LED harness if not exactly the same..

What do you guys think will it work? the guy is located locally so its perfect for me.

yes. But you'll still need load resistors.

Or a modified relay.

I don't see why it shouldn't work, it seems like an in-line load resistor from an electrical perspective. Just be ready with a multimeter to troubleshoot potential issues.

Im not down to troubleshoot any potential issues lmao im a pure noob when it comes to all these wiring i just need a plug and play, you saying i should go ahead and buy the relay and connect the two?

You should probably buy a simple harness for your DRL then if you want ease of use.

Yes it will work. You'll need the resistor so the orange DRL error light doesn't illuminate.

A HID relay harness and led relay harness both do the same thing. They supply battery voltage to the bulbs.

Its your money bud. If you want to save money, then that would definitely be the way to go. BUT you'll potentially run into issues (may or may not I don't use ebay things so can't comment on their quality)

If you want a purely plug and play product that has zero issues, then why not just spend the money on something that's proven to work?

You can't have your cake and eat it too is what i'm getting at... Ya gotta get your hands dirty at some point if you want to mod your car, it's not always going to be rainbows and butterflies #realitycheck

So my plan is this, connect the harness to the battery, and then connect the load resistors to the harness which then is when i connect the LED bulbs to the LED load resistors themselves ..

I have a feeling by just looking at this ijdmtoy installation guide they are using the same method as me LOL

How to install R10 Setup for 2007-2008 Acura TL

Check out picture 5 &7 it looks like an led load resistor connected to the harness ..
