What was this yellow /!\ on my gauges?
on my 08 tl base..
i was going around a corner really fast in 1st to see how the traction control worked(ive never had traction control befor).
and about half way through at almost full-throttle a big yellow ! exclamation point came up near the traction control lights on my gauges, and then my rpm suddenly dropped for a spilt second and picked up again.
what happend? was it my car trying to tell me i was driving like an idiot?
i dont know much about the traction control on this car and the owners manual doesnt have much in-depth info about it.
someone?

if u plan on doing a launch without the engine cutting out, push the traction control button on the left...that will leave an orange ! on ur dash telling ur the traction control is off...with it off u can burn out all day long, and i feel there is more power when its off.
if u try to burn out with it on,ur car will cut out even if ur foot is to the floor, once u get traction it will slowly rev up gaining speed without losing traction.

FWIW - VSA and Traction Control are, for all practical purposes, "extended components" of the ABS system.
With Traction Control, the car will apply braking to either or both front wheels and/or reduce throttle when the wheel speeds/wheel speed differentials indicate a loss of traction (at one or both front wheels).
VSA takes in to account the above (wheel speed and/or wheel speed differential) as well as Steering input and measured yaw rate. If the measured yaw rate will not put the car where the steering wheel is pointed, VSA jumps in and applies brake and/or reduces throttle until the yaw rate = the steering input.
IOW - Traction Control helps you get grip and go. VSA saves you from wrapping your dumb ass around a tree ( ).
