Add me to the list of people who sold their TL. It's been a great couple of years of trouble free ownership. Like to thank all that has posted where the info had been helpful to me. I'll still stick around as I like this forum and the people here :gheyhug:. Don't have any plans as of yet to replace but you never know. I may get another TL. New owner is on the forums so I will still see it from time to time if he posts pictures.

Work in the city so I don't use it at all during the weekdays. Only used on weekends. Got my wifes Civic for weekday errands

Wow that location of the EZpass is weird. People dont steal them like that? Or is there a way to protect it so no one else can use it? Here in Illinois our Ipass is just a small module that sits at the top of the windshield inside the car.

Same thing here in NY, just for some cars, EZ pass issues a license plate tag, not windshield tag. They claim the windshield on certain cars contains something that may block the signal, but I have a window tag in my TL and no problems yet

mostly higher end cars like the S-class 7 series and A8, some GM cars as well. The glass contains metal particles/film which bounces the heat back. it appears to look purple, and it's called comfort glass. It makes a huge difference, not only in heat reduction, but in clarity (looks so much clearer and without distortion)

Well..well..well...hey Henry! Im the new owner of the 06 TL. I just put it on the road just two days ago so Im still learning. This is my third Acura (01 RSX, 01 CL, and now the 06TL) so Im not new to these forums.
Today, I spent almost 4 hours detailing the car (car was really dirty) and Im amazed how clean this car is. Practically, brand new! I did find one scratch on the bumper, however, of 2mm size...lol.

Funny story is while I was waxing (NXT 2.0) the car and detailing the interior (w/ Aerospace Protectant), the battery drained on me. I went to start the car and heard clicking noise....I was like Oh sh*t!!! But then I realized that all this time the Nav was on (like 1.5 hours). So I got someone to boost me up and it was all fine. The battery terminals were really dirty too. Im going to see if I get a new battery from the dealer if its covered by the warranty (good till November 09).

So far so good! Im very happy with the purchase of this car. One thing that I take pride is in taking care of my cars. Its people that hate and dont give a sh*t about your property that I worry. I'll try to post pics when I can.

Oh...one thing is that I never really liked the 07 stock wheels on the TLs. I rather have had the 06 wheels. They are growing on me a little though. I will like the a-spec wheels in ebony black. Maybe next summer!!

Any pics with those wheels and the color of the car (Anthracite Metallic)??

Ya it was a bit dirty. Damn rain prevented me from really giving it a bath. I always clean and wax with Zainos. After you gave her a bath, you should have still seen the shine from the Zaino. Glad your happy with your new ride. Take good care of her I'll talk to you soon. Still have things to pass over to you.
