You can use my guide when I installed a B&M cooler on my Accord V6. Pass on the Magnefine filter, it does almost nothing whatsoever when you change the fluid regularly and religiously. I can tell you this positively because I just had my trans rebuilt and this transmission's weakness is not in the clutch packs. I barely had any debris on the small OEM filter that I ran for 150k miles. I changed the filter just twice.

A few years ago, a user posted he was able to install an aftermarket cooler on their base TL successfully. However in the long run this did not prevent transmission failure. It helped but it was more of a bandaid than a fix.
Wasn't sure it that's what you were aiming for.
