Too All Prospective GTA TL buyers, Incentives inside!!!

Hey guys I just received this in the mail, seems Acura in Markham has an overstock of 30 08TL's and is looking to clear them out, they are offering 0.9% financing and your choice of either a 6.5HP snowblower, laptop or 32' flatscreen LCD TV. I bought my car there and have received very good service so I figured I would pass the word on. heres a shitty camera phone pic of the advertisement I received.

Cheers!

don't want to poo-poo your thread, but I'm very critical of the "new incentives" that the automakers have been putting out lately here in Canada. Sales are down as the number of people buying cars in the states is going up and Canadian dealers are trying everything short of offering a substantial deal. Until I see real concrete numbers of the discount and not just "we have a great deal, come on in" I remain skeptical.

0.9 financing is being offered across the board, not just at Markham. The only difference really is in the gifts they're offering.

I'm not saying it's not worth a look if you're in the market, but be careful that you don't end up paying for that $999 gift indirectly by not getting a lower out-the-door price.

Again, don't want to rain on anyone's parade especially if you do end up saving money, but just make sure the deal you're getting is really a deal.

Very valid point, The over stock situation may be to the benefit of the consumer though. The gifts are just a nice bonus after some shrewd negotiating. I've heard to qualify for 0.9 financing you have to put a ton down too.

Yup, it would be great for us if there was always an overstock situation. As the new TSX/TL's are due in the coming months, the deals for the "leftovers" should be better than they have ever been...a friend of mine just picked up a new TSX for $29k before taxes (I think it was cash purchase).
