Strange knocking sound when turning left in cold weather
Hey guys, I have been experiencing a strange sound when I turn left only when it's around 50 degrees or less outside. The weird thing is that the sound is slow when I make a slight turn, but it speeds up quickly when I make a more aggressive turn. Could anyone tell me what components I should take a look at?

This^^^^. Back when it was hot outside, I was drunk driving and smacked a curve at nearly 40mph! I tore the CV boot exposing all the grease, but it didn't make any strange noise right away, but once it started to get cold outside, it started creaking and making the same clicking noise yours is making, and only does it around 40 degrees and cooler. Im gonna replace both cv axles.

My axles make a weird sound, but only when it's balls fucking cold out. Like -25F and colder. They've been doing it since I bought the car.
I fully expect them to shit the bed one day, but for now, they're all good. If it's any warmer than that, there is no noise. It also goes away once the engine warms up... I'm guessing the engine bay Temps rise enough for the sound to stop.

I doubt it's something you need to replace asap, but it's worth keeping it on your radar
