Damn, TL is definitely gonna end up totaled.

Sorry, but glad you didn't get hurt (at least not bad enough to not snap any pictures)

Also noticed the baby seat in the back. If your family was with you during the accident, I hope they're ok too

That really sucks! I dunno if I'd bother fixing her. It might be doable but that's some significant frame damage. She'll never be the same

Word of advise- if your insurance deems it a write off, don't take the first money offer they give you. Hopefully you have receipts for any mods and some pics of the car looking pristine. I was able to squeeze an additional 3500 from my insurance, back in the day.

Sorry to see. At least you escaped injury. The TL can be replaced. That one definitely isn't repair worthy.

Damn, I'm glad you're alright. Having gone through this exact situation not too long ago, I feel your pain.

Not even close to worth it. That quarter panel isn't a replaceable part. Same with the trunk floor.

Sorry to hear about what happened. I've been in your situation, twice. It feels much better when you replace it with a new car.

Sorry to hear about that! The bright side, as everyone has said, is that it looks like no one got hurt.

I'm not sure how much you can squeeze from the insurance anymore, if you didn't let them know about your mods in the first place. Other option would be to just part out what you can salvage out of her.

It depends if you have full coverage than any mods should be considered that what happened when I totaled my teggy. They took any receipt that I could find. Glad to hear you safe it sucks but your life is far more important.

your dvd drive is most likely damaged. that one is 2-3k for a new one which will most definitely total your car. good luck with everything.

It's a sorry mess for sure, and a painful result for you. If you're not showing any signs of injury ( soft tissue etc ) that is a great thing, and you can use your incredible skills to good use on another project. As life goes on, we get these little lessons on attachment. All the best, and find yourself a worthy replacement!

Sorry to see, but glad you're okay. Hard to move on but look forward to the new car, I remember when my accord got totaled back in the day. Not a good feeling, especially if you modded your car or took real good care of it. Glad you're alive though.

Well it looks like you might have been able to retrieve whatever you wanted that was still in the trunk, but not sure what sort of shape it would be in. Looks like a pretty solid hit.

When insurance companies pay to total a car, they usually don't let you take anything (at least from my personal experience). But YMMV? Sorry to see another TL go As long as you're okay, you get a good payout, you can get another one!

I was under the impression the OP was looking to get his personal belongings out of the trunk.

Agree with thoiboi - Insurance co is expecting the car to be somewhat whole. If OP had another set of base wheels, he might be able to swap.
