Oem acura parts online in canada
Hi guys, this is freakin' frustrating
. But where can i buy OEM Acura parts online that will ship to Canada. All the OEM ACURA parts sites are in the US which is fine but they don't ship to Canada.
Especially with the CBP i can't get some painted parts at my dealer since that color was only in the US...
I tried Google but to no avail...Can you guys help?
thanks

Their prices are competitive and they pay the duties and customs charges to Canada (I think the shipping is free too). I've purchased the A-spec lip kit and OEM all-weather floor mats from them before. Shipping was fast. The lip kit came in good packaging and no damage.

i've mostly used Ebay for TL purchases... the seller was usually Acura of Peoria or CurryAcura...duties were there on some items but still worked out to be pretty good..it's just the waiting game BUT it makes it easier to obtain shipment tracking info so you have a general idea when you would get them.

In my over 20 years of buying/selling online/internationally, that is the first time that I have ever heard of a vendor paying for duty and customs/brokerage fees....ever. And rarely do US vendors have free shipping to Canada...especially on large items that are expensive to ship.
You sure about that?

^ Yup. I'm not sure how they do it (or maybe they offset it in their price), but they claimed I would not be charged for customs and duties when it arrived.
Actually, I WAS charged customs and duties the first time I bought the lip kit from them, but they paid me back in full when I called them up. It was just a mistake. I didn't pay anything from my end the second time I bought the mats.
I would suggest you just give them a call and get a price quote directly with a sales associate and make sure they confirm that they pay duties and customs. I highly doubt you will be disappointed though. Just remember that they will probably quote you in US dollars (exchange rate is pretty good today too!)

^ Just to clarify. Curry Acura did refund the customs/duties/brokerage fees to me when I was mistakingly charged on delivery.
I actually just called them to double check for you and it's confirmed - no fees, the price quoted on their site in US dollars is the price you pay. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Wow...I'm shocked....but in a good way! ^I'm looking for an A-Spec lip kit as well.
They must mark their prices up to compensate for paying those fees. Otherwise, I'm not sure how they would do it....but I'm gonna find out! Thanks for the tip...
***Edit....I just thought of something...are the lip kits manufactured in North america? If so, that would account for the Duty not being charged as Free Trade kicks in. But you still had to pay sales taxes, correct?

i don't think you have to pay the sales tax as you are not a resident of the city or USA...but then if all is included for $900 its a steal cause on ebay you can get one for $800 but then you have the shipping and duty... will run way over a grand...

OK....I JUST got off the phone with the Parts Department Rep...to clear up a few misconceptions:
- Curry does not offer free shipping to Canada.
- Curry does NOT cover Brokerage/Customs fees. It's built into the shipping cost. So blackknight, Customs Canada probably mistook the invoice and charged you Customs again...hence you were refunded. Brokerage is charged by the carrier so Curry probably has an account where that cost is taken out of their shipping cost up front.
- You still have to pay Canadian Sales Taxes (GST &PST) once the item gets here.
Oh well....sounded a little too good to be true!
Just checked one of their ebay listings...shipping is $120 USD to Canada for a body lip kit.

They have their kits for $779 on ebay plus $120 shipping equals $899 total USD. Plus you'd have to pay GST/PST when it gets here. So it'd be over a grand. Still good since Canadian dealers want $1400+++ for the kit.

Thanks for clearing that up.
Yah, I had a feeling the fees were just built into the price, but at least there are no surprises and it still comes out cheaper than the local oem vendors. When I searched for all-season mats, the dealers in Ottawa wanted $195 (taxes not-included). I got them for $125 total from Curry Acura

Canadian duties on auto parts are quite expensive. It's approximately 35% of the price of the items.
I ordered a set of mats from hondaacuraworld.com which cost 105.00USD plus 37.00USD for shipping. I ended up having to pay 59.00CDN duties for the mats. The dealership in London (Ontario) was selling them for 210CDN plus taxes. Brutal. I probably saved 20 bucks at the end of the day.
