My new 2007 TL Type S

Hi,
I just bought a canadian 2007 TL Type S and imported it into Washington. it's my first car that I've bought myself. I'm looking to modify its look a bit in the near future. I've only been studying the forums for a few weeks now so send me a friend request if you don't mind me picking your brain about the 3g. Thanks!

Hello and welcome!

Have you seen The Lyfestyle's YouTube channel? He has a similar TL in Portland.

I figure that might intrest you.

Beautiful TL, BTW!

Lucky! You have the coveted A-Spec wheels, too!

Congratulations! Glad to see some young guys getting into the TL world!

Now the important thing... How's it doing in terms of upcoming maintenance?

Hi, thank you very much! I didn't know these wheels are "coveted" or anything, but I've hit them with some wheel cleaner and polish and they sure shine It only has 80k miles on it, but I've done an oil change already (with 5W-30) and restored the headlights (this picture was taken before I restored the headlights). Of course I've washed it a few times as well, need to wax it when I get the time. The two owners before me just took it to the dealership for everything so it's up to date as far as I know (I've looked through all of the complete service records). Brakes and tires are good as far as I can tell, so I'm just gonna be working on the paint and hopefully repairing the rock chips it has.

Congratulations on the purchase. In my humble opinion and after driving my Acura TL since 2006 and a leased TL in 2003, the one you just bought may be the best Acura TL ever made. Perfect arm resting positions. Perfect back window views. Everything within arms length. Perfect.

Again, congratulations.

Thanks, I actually bought it across the border in Vancouver for 8600USD. I imported it, which cost nothing and registration is the same.

Thanks, I did a lot of research on cars, figuring out what i wanted. And yes, I wanted the biggest baddest version of the car I could find, and I think I did well.

Very nice, A spec wheels plus body kit means this was probably sold as an A Spec from the dealer... stick or auto? Congrats!

How do you figure? It could have been added on afterwards too

He mentions previous owners all brought to dealer for service... and tracking down a set of A Spec wheels to go along with the body kit doesnt scream "dealer service type people" to me- but without a window sticker i guess we can only speculate

Type-S lip just doesn't do it for me. Prefer base lip or no lip at all.

I actually have a full service record from when the car was purchased. The body kit was added at the time of purchase from the dealer. The first owner got the rims as an option. It also has carbon fiber trim all over, including the steering wheel. I kind of knew this car was a unicorn, but even now I'm just discovering cool things about it. It is an auto because commuting and laziness.
