when you paint, you can't get the orignal color back very easily. If you wanted something reversible and something that looks great, get some good sticky vinyl and put it wherever you want on the car, then get that painted whatever color you please with a little bit of flex additive.

i took the vinyl off since i'm going to be selling my car this summer. i'm looking to get rid of the 400 dollar car payment..

it was pretty easy to remove, took about an hr. had some sticky glue left behind, i just used a 3m general adhesive remover to take it off, then applied wax over it. looks new

The antenna on the roof is for XM only, the AM/FM antenna is built into the rear glass and the navi antenna is on the rear deck. If you do take out the bubble, you're going to have to cover up the hole and patch it up well so water doesn't get in!

NO, must have direct unblocked view of signal.

You'd be surprised how well XM antennas work. if you can somehow retrofit one of the generic magnetic XM antennas to the stock antenna harness, I'm pretty sure you'll get a good signal if it's stuck to the underside of the roof against the metal (hidden above the headliner).
