Coverlay dashboard reinstall with pictures

jimmyfu, it's comes with a silicone glue, you can use black or clear silicone I think the brand is permatex! After you apply the silicone put some heavy stuff on top and leave it overnight.
So, what is the material that is on the airbag? Is that a specialty-wrapped airbag? My Coverlay is coming today, but I don't think it has an airbag cover like is what in the pictures to build up the distance from the flat dash to the top of the Coverlay on the airbag cutout.
I took pics in my thread. I detailed how I made it fit better.

It's really easy, just tried on couple of times without glue to check if everything fit OK, and what part it's going to be the more challenging ,open both doors, clean the dashboard with Windex or something similar , apply the silicone and do the big piece first and then the airbag cover , after installed put some heavy stuff all around and let it sit overnight.
Use shoes on the dash near the windshield, and get at least three large paint tape rolls for the other sections, including using gallon jugs, if you have them. Use the tape rolls to squish the Coverlay to the dash by force from the windshield.

So I've discovered something weird about the Coverlay. Whereas on the original dash you can put 303 to help protect it (and where it leaves a slight shine to it), the dash cover doesn't work that way, especially if you leave it in the sun. It evaporates to a dull finish. Not sure why, but I found that to be weird.
If you have a Coverlay, please ensure you use a sunshade. Mine warped just above the airbag, and now I have to try to tame my OCD ass and glue it back down. If that doesn't work I'm returning this to Rock Auto where I bought it.
I can vouch for Coverlay...it worked great for my 05 TL. Dealer's goodwill was going to still cost me $800...for a new, old stock dash that would likely crack again in a year. In retrospect, I probably should have put more of the Coverlay adhesive but there's still no problem. I used small medicine balls to press down on the Coerlay overnight (nothing too heavy). It looks just like the picture in this post...I actually thought it was my car in another person's garage.
Id be tempted to grind down the old dash in the top center to get rid of that hump. Id also take the speaker mesh out of the dash and put it on top of the coverlay. It would look more stock to me.
My dash started cracking last summer and now it has like 20 cracks... I was gunna buy one of these covers but im selling the car now.

I wonder if either of these are the same quality? They are all $40 and free shipping.. I wonder how they ship it? Do they fold it? Too Cheap! haha
