Code P-0154
Hello- Girlfriend has Code P0154 on a 2008 TL- Looks like Bank 2 Sensor 1 failed. Do i need any special Tools? Any recommendations of where to buy this part? is it hard to get to? thank you. Very Mechanical inclined.

If I'm recalling correctly, that is literally right there next to the hood latch as you pop the top. It does reasonably need an O2 socket (for a socket wrench) to let you slot it over the sensor body with the wires still on it. Very simple job, takes you maybe 5 minutes. My Bank 1 Sensor 1 went bad and I replaced the B2S1 while I was at it. Go with Denso only. I tried another brand and I had to have them replace it for me once and it still wouldn't work, so I've changed the damn thing 3 times. I just grabbed it from amazon.
Someone please correct me if I'm recalling incorrectly.

5 minutes....if it will break free that easily...mine did not....just took a few days of soaking it with PB Blaster before going to bed once things cooled down. Yes, you will need an O2 socket, under $15 on Amazon. Denso or NTK should be fine. My OEM was an NTK, but I replaced with a Denso.
