Brought her home today :-)

This car replaced my 2002 TL, I will miss that car that had 214K miles on it with its original transmission!

I asked the dealer to add 20% tint to it as part of the deal. This has the Technology package.
The car is bank vault quiet and the ELS audio sounded great pumping out some Green Day on the drive back hehe. Hope you enjoy some pics of the car:

Wow, that's how they do it in Jersey, eh? Stunning!
I've got another week, I'm told, before mine arrives.

MooFoo,
Congrats on the new RLX - very beautiful. Remember, black is not a color, it is a commitment. If you don't have one already get a Ultimate Detailing Machine (Porter Cable DO buffer), some polish, clay bar and was and you will be set for any detailing fixes. We can't get by with that dark of a tint in TX. I might also suggest a clear bra for the front (I had a '06 RL in black so that is why I am making the suggestions).

The RLX is a beautiful car, don't know why it gets so much hate! Great pick up op.

Wait, you got 214k on your 2G TL's ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION? WOW! Having been on Acura-TL.com (now Acurazine) when the original transmission problems were reported, I am amazed. You are a lucky guy.

Now you get to have an RLX. She's looking sharp! Enjoy, and post your purchase details in the RLX Owners' thread.

Congratulations on your car and I couldn't agree more on the comment by Miner below. Black is a commitment if you want it always looking great. I have owned all kinds of colors. For the short five minutes it stays clean, but when it is clean, nothing compares.

I work hard at keeping my car clean, part of it is a passion, part is OCD, part is therapy.

I use Meguiar's Show Car Glaze as the polish and their NXT Gen 2.0 car wax.

It does, and I've liked it from the start. Except the wheels. My God they are ugly. Were I to purchase an RLX, I would immediately switch them out, resonators or no. I simply don't get why Acura has been choosing such ugly wheels lately.

Interesting, I was immediately attracted to the wheels.
Certainly, Acura is betting they will appeal to the broader demographic.
With that said, I know they've gotten it wrong before. Good thing that's something they can adjust later.

I wanted Chrome wheels like I had on my 2006 RL but an pleased with the stock units - Mike Landon
