You said elsewhere you were going to move the LEGEND badge.
Did you really do that or decide you liked it where it is?

After going back and forth in my head I decided not to move it. In the end, I simply prefer the badge location at the top.
However, I was so quick to get the modification complete I didn't realized until afterwards I have a different LEGEND badge than what you, TampaRLX, and neuronbob have installed.
The average Joe won't know the difference, but I do, so I'm working on getting the correct badge.
My experience so far has been really amazing. I have received about 6 comments from strangers (guys who appear to be in their late 40's or 50's) who wanted to know how long the car has been out.
It's funny how just having the LEGEND badge seems to elevate the car's prestige in the minds of those who see it, unlike the RLX badge.
I am no marketing expert, but the Legend was so well received and was such a great car (including my 2G coupe), I am really surprised Acura wouldn't want to revive the name for a special car -- i.e., the Sport Hybrid. That name still resonates with people, and the SH is certainly a deserving model.
I did not have my RLX badge on for very long. So I cannot measure recognition before vs. after adding my LEGEND badge.
BUT what I can say is that I have many people complimenting me on the car. Descriptives I get are 'stately, modern and beautiful'. I have had more then a couple ask me if it was a new 7 series BMW (although, admitting that was from side and rear views).
I had 3 people walk up to me and ask about the LEGEND by name. One waited from me to come out of a take out restaurant to ask about the car excited that the LEGEND was reborn.
Not one person knew of the Sport Hybrid. Some recognize Acura Jewel Eyes.
Not one person has used the descriptives of 'boring, Accord, or bland'.
It is always nice to get a compliment on your car. I could not care less about those who rush to , even celebrate down playing this car. They can spin their hate on Temple of Venom.
It feels more flagship than the RL, I think mostly because of size and presence of size.
Considering how long it took me to actually get the car, I find the styling modern, tasteful, very well proportioned and something I think will wear well over time. And that is the same description I used of my RL and LEGENDs past.
Found a vendor to obtain the lighted Legend doorsills!!!!!! They cost a pretty penny, too, but paying a vendor, who had to pay a broker in Japan to get them....well worth the effort.
Note: There is no greystone in the JDM Legend, so only ebony and Seacoast are available.
Now to find time to pull apart the interior of the car to get these installed.
They do make the LEGEND illuminated door sills for the JDM models. Need to find us a JDM parts source on the forum. I would like the LEGEND carpet mats, but the JDM is right hand drive. But at least it is now an Acura LEGEND with the RLX trim package.
Well for those who have transformed their RLX into a LEGEND, a new option.
The left hand LEGEND floor mats are only available in the Phillipines. I have not been able find someone willing to make the customs declaration and ship them to the US. Plus the OEM mats are insanely expensive. However, an option to replace the OEM RLX floor mats:
For about $120 you can get the front two mats with an Acura logo (see below options). Not LEGEND, but the front mats (and trunk mat) are the only RLX badges left to convert - and this vendor can do them with the ACURA logo in a black heathered Berber close if not a match to the OEM mats. And ultimately I wanted an Acura LEGEND.
On another front, as of 2017 the illuminated ACURA door sills are now offered in graystone for the 4 pc kit. I think I will be ordering these to swap my black illuminated sills. Perhaps then I can offer them at a great price (ever so slightly used) to a member here (via Black Market). This was another weird search. The 4 pc was not offered in graystone when I purchased my SH (although 2 pc fronts were) , so I was defaulted to black. I considered JDM LEGEND sills as Bob had ordered, but I discovered that graystone interior (quartz in Honda land) was not offered on the LEGEND (they get the cool 2 tone brown / black option on the JDM).
So if I order the front mats (and a trunk mat) I will have completed my transformation from RLX to Acura LEGEND.

That is the trunk mat.......so much higher quality then the one I got here! Why does Honda do that?

I have Android for now.... I am seeing Acura App apks for Windows Phone. If I can verification they work (especially for Pandora, Aha & Text Msgs) I am going back to Windows Phone. I have my eye on the Surface phone about to be released.
Android has plenty of features but they change behavior every other day.

I wanted to let you know that I found this in the Japanese owners manual, and it seems like it is part of the console. I might be wrong, but pay attention to where the USB and AUX inputs are.....
Maybe it is not a direct plugin.....
Is this the same case that came with our US Legends, or is Japan Legend only? I ask because I think I remember that I have a leather case or two (buried in a box in the attic) that I kept from prior cars, though maybe they are from my RLs.
Honda used to include a case like this with all its models......I am sure this should be almost the same as the ones that came with the RL, and the ones you already have. I personally do not like having all those booklets loose in the glove box, and this is just perfect.

I agree, and am currently using the case from my last RL. But now I want a Legend case, I'm going attic-diving tomorrow!
This is unclear. In 2016 you can get 2 or 4 door sills. Although they list the color codes they were only offered in black for the 4 door sills. I asked if it was a matter that the other colors were yet to be in the pipeline and the 3 parts vendors I spoke with said it looks like 4 door will only be black. BUT you can order 2 door kits in any color. Sounds like a sourcing issue.
But I love the look at night when the doors open.
FINALLY after almost 2 years, the unicorn 4 doors sills in grey REALLY DO EXIST! Seriously, I was skeptical until I actually opened the box. This is what arrived today:
so I will be replacing the 4 door sills in black my dealer installed on delivery. So my very slightly used black 4 door illuminated sills will soon be available to someone with a black interior.
Next, my new custom ACURA embroidered (licensed logo) floor mats will replace the last RLX reference on my Acura LEGEND.
They have been shipped from CA, and due here by the weekend.
I have an RLX Trunk mat - which I ordered the 'Acura A' logo trunk mat to replace it.
Call me nutz but the price of the OEM mats is $600+ These are from Lloyds and I actually ordered 2 sets. One in Black heathered Berber and one set in Charcoal / Dark Grey Berber to see which is closest match to my interior carpet. If the charcoal does the trick, you may be interested in the Black heather Berber. I am unsure if the carpet color of the black / ebony interior is the same as the greystone.

Thanks Tampa. The floor mats are the only RLX reference I have left. The LEGEND trunk mat was $175 (JDM) and the quality is superb.

I also forgot you have Seacoast interior. But they have many color options, carpet types and material weights.
I have not seen another JDM LEGEND mat since you snapped up yours. And my 'friend' from Manila - he is OFF the Christmas Card List!!!
