Ok guys. we will have a Tri-City meet in Houston the second weekend of December. Mark your calendars.

Big Texas meet will be during spring break next year.

I dont know about doing big as texas during tx2k weekend. IMO austin also has better twisties to drive on. If you have two meets on one day it causes a lot of conflict since everyone wants to do something different. I support peter and his efforts at tx2k and I will be spending more time there rather than with the Acura crew unfortunately. Also great people from around the states to chat with from my previous experiences there. Also I will be playing with the faster cars so I dunno (not in my car obviously). I just dont see it as a good idea. I say that because if I was to have say an Acura meet I would think everyone can be together and talk (nohomo) We all have a common interest and a meet with something planned out would be better in the end. If we do tx2k weekend the hassle is getting everyone together and everyone wants to do something different which will conflict since they do have the anime convention every year there too. I would just say a separate meet overall and keep it at the central Austin location.

TX2k will be around spring break in March if not the week after. Thats usually when it happens. Check supraforums peter should have the dates already posted on there. Crazy little burnout contest last year surprised omni is having people back lol...but the meet generates that hotel a shit ton of money.

How is it hard to just group up at Frankenstein's (where TX2K is always at) and just chill and look at other cars also. It is not even a "Acura" meet, it is more a "Acurazine" meet.

Texas2K would be the best time to meet out of the year in Texas.

1. Your time will not be wasted-- as they're more to do/see that weekend than just an "Acura" meet.

2. You can call it a "National" Car meet similar to Bimmerfest in CA.

3. Everyone has 5 months to prepare.

 

There's just too much to do but thats just my 2 cents and my opinion if you guys want to throw a meet then go for it. I get distracted with all the other things going on. Frank n steins is one thing but that's just at night then you have your play dates with other events in mexico. Ill either be at the strip or car show for the most of the day or track 21 depending on how I feel. That usually ends up being my schedule down there for the most part and of course chinatown since the one in dallas blows ass.

i guess i see a point in this. we can all meet up saturday morning, do our thing and then all go to frankenstien meet at night.
