Reliable service in Dallas/Ft.Worth area
Looking for input from those in the metroplex area. As I just hit 20% oil life left the other day, I figure by the time I head back from Abilene I'll be between 5% and "change immediately" on my way home as I reach I-30. The closest dealer to Abilene is Mac Churchill located on the NE Loop 820 service road after 820 passes under I-35 (westbound side of 820). Their oil change price seems to be about right, and as I'll be at 38000+ miles I'll probably be ready for my second ""6" service (first "6" service was performed just after 9000 miles as a part of my A16 service).
Any input as to positive/negative recommendations for this dealer, or any other one located in the Ft. Worth/Dallas area. tks

I have only personally been to Goodson Acura (where I bought and did 1st service) in Irving and David McDavid Acura in Plano (old TL serviced). I would recommend both, but I chose to do my business with Goodson because they are slightly closer for me. They had me in and out pretty fast and washed her up for me. Happy travels!

Before heading down this way, I calculated when my service light would come on and decided to take a trip to AC - allowing the light to come on before I started on my trip this way. Worked perfectly, and had the B service performed at home on Friday before I started this way last Saturday. Turns out the "6" service isn't tied into the "A" or "B" services at all, and is independantly determined by the computer. Soooo ... while no guarantee it won't still come on before I get head back home (or along the way), it apparently wasn't something that I needed to plan for.

I realize this is probably too late to be useful, but:
I'm (or actually my wife is) on my 4th Acura in the DFW area. I've had them serviced at all 4 area dealerships at one time or another. I've found Vandergriff in Arlington the best for service by a big enough margin to keep me coming back even though Goodson and David McDavid are closer for me. (Vandergriff was Bill McDavid when I bought my 88 and 89 Integras)
That's not to say we disliked any of them, and their service might have been biased by the fact we bought our Acuras there.

yeah, David Mc David is where I bought my TL so I guess Im somewhat biased as well.
But I delt with the same service guy each and every time. He is definitely the reason I kept going back. I sent many people to him.
